EQUITARIUM

Equine Science, Biomechanics & Equine Welfare

Here, you learn to see the horse as a whole: to read their body language and subtle signals, understand the vital connection between health, management, and movement, spot issues early, and structure training to protect and preserve their long-term health.
The Philosophy Behind Equitarium
  • The Horse as a Whole System
Health, management, movement, psychology, and training are all interconnected. You cannot address one while ignoring the rest.
  • Understanding Over Pure Execution
An exercise only makes sense when you understand what it alters and why this specific horse needs it right now.
  • Root Cause Over Symptoms
Resistance, changes in movement, or behavioral shifts are reasons to look for the cause—not to simply increase pressure.
  • Health Above Performance
No athletic result is worth a horse’s health. Training should build up their physical capabilities, not deplete their body's resources.
  • Observe and Reflect
Rigid formulas cannot replace the ability to see the individual horse, analyze what is happening, and adapt your approach.
  • The Rider as Part of the System
A rider’s balance, seat, coordination, and fitness directly shape how the horse moves and responds to training.
Behind the Project

My name is Antonina. I have been in the equestrian world since 1997. Over more than 25 years, I have gained diverse experience: from classical equestrian sports to working with horses with a history of abuse, as well as co-founding and running a shelter for traumatized horses. Parallel to this, I have spent decades systematically studying hippology, biomechanics, and training methodologies.

My goal is not simply to teach you how to ride or repeat memorized exercises. I am here to help you become a knowledgeable, capable trainer for your own horse: learning to notice subtle shifts in movement, understand the root causes of tension, read body language, and make conscious, informed decisions regarding management and training.
